This preview boots the actual GemOS floppy image from a static site. It is an emulator session in the browser, not a video stream and not a mock desktop.

What is loaded

Limitations

Expected differences

  • Boot and desktop rendering will be slower than local QEMU.
  • The current preview path boots the desktop without an ATA-backed GemFS disk, so persistent file-backed userland flows are limited.
  • Input timing can vary depending on browser and machine speed.
  • The preview is for exploration, not validation of performance-sensitive bugs.
